April Training Day
is this Saturday, April 26 at 8:30 am
at Lassen Investment Properties (80 acres)
on Panorama Point Road (next to Phoenix Spas) in Anderson.
We have a couple of changes with this training day -
1. We are charging for the training day this time as we are hiring bird throwers.
We hope that in hiring workers the stake will go faster and you will not have to throw dead birds.
2. If you buy a live pheasant to be shot for your dog, you cannot take the dead pheasant home. Why not?
Because members have been bringing their own stock of dead birds for the training days and have not been able to be "paid back".
Letting them take the fresh shot flyers home means that they will be able to bring birds for us to use at future training days.
You can take one of the old dead birds at the end of the training session.
3. You may repeat a mark only one time.
4. Only 3 dogs per person.
The cost is $ 10. per dog. This $10. does not include the cost of the flyer pheasant.
You can run the marks as singles, a double or a triple.
A blind will also be included, one inside the marks and one outside the marks.
Run one with your senior dog or both with your master dog.
Live flyer pheasants available for $ 11.00 a pheasant. Live pigeons will NOT be available.
If you want to bring your own live pigeon/s, you may do so, but they will be shot with steel shot (probably will get pretty shot up) and the club is not liable for missed birds. If you wish to bring your own live pigeons with the wings taped you may. Wings must be taped before they are taken to the live gun station. You must take your pigeons out to the live gun station in your own carrier with your name on the carrier.
